Returns, Exchanges & Refund Policy

As a luxury artisan brand, each BB Boutique & Co. product is made to order with exacting standards. We stand behind the quality of our work and are committed to resolving any genuine concerns with discretion and care.

1. General Policy

Due to the nature of our products — which are made to order, fragrance-bearing, and subject to personal preference — BB Boutique & Co. does not accept returns for change of mind. All sales are considered final once the production process has begun (i.e., upon order confirmation).

We encourage clients to review product descriptions, fragrance notes, and our curated scent guidance prior to purchase. Our team is available to assist with scent selection before you buy.

2. Exceptions — When We Will Make It Right

We will issue a replacement, exchange, or store credit in the following circumstances:

  • The item arrives structurally damaged due to shipping
  • The incorrect item was shipped
  • A documented manufacturing defect is present that affects performance (e.g., wick failure, glass integrity, spray mechanism malfunction)

Fragrance strength and personal scent preference do not constitute defects and are not eligible for exchange or refund.

3. How to Initiate a Claim

To initiate a claim under one of the above exceptions:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@bbboutiqueandcompany.com
  • Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the product and packaging
  • Retain all original packaging until your claim is resolved

We will respond within 2 business days with next steps. Approved claims will be fulfilled by replacement or store credit at our discretion. Cash refunds are issued only in cases where a replacement cannot be fulfilled within a reasonable timeframe.

4. Gifting Clients

We understand that luxury gifts carry expectations. If a gift recipient experiences an issue with their product, please have them contact us directly — we will handle all communications with the utmost discretion.

5. Wholesale & Hospitality

Return and defect terms for wholesale and hospitality partners are governed by the BB Boutique & Co. Wholesale Partner Agreement and supersede this retail policy.

6. Promotional, Gifted & Complimentary Items

Products distributed as part of a promotion, giveaway, gifting campaign, brand collaboration, influencer seeding, press send, or any complimentary arrangement are not eligible for replacement, exchange, or refund under any circumstances. This policy applies regardless of the condition of the product upon receipt, personal preference, or any claimed defect reported after the fact.

BB Boutique & Co. reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether a product was distributed on a promotional or complimentary basis. Misrepresentation of a promotional item as a purchased item in order to obtain a replacement or refund may be considered fraud and will be treated accordingly.
