Shipping & Fulfillment Policy
At BB Boutique & Co., every product is crafted with deliberate care. Our fulfillment timeline reflects the artisanal standards our clients expect — never rushed, always intentional.
1. Overview & Our Commitment
BB Boutique & Co. is a global luxury fragrance house. Our collection spans home ambiance — including hand-poured candles, room sprays, and diffuser blends — as well as fine fragrance and ancillary collections. All products are prepared in order to preserve the integrity and performance of each item. We do not maintain pre-poured inventory. This ensures that every product that leaves our studio meets our highest quality standards.
By placing an order with BB Boutique & Co., you acknowledge and agree to the fulfillment timelines described in this policy.
2. The Maturation Period
Our candles and select fragrance products undergo a mandatory maturation (curing) period of fourteen (14) calendar days following production. This period is non-negotiable and is fundamental to achieving the scent throw, burn performance, and structural integrity that define our collection.
During curing, fragrance molecules fully bind with the wax matrix. Skipping or shortening this period results in diminished scent performance — something we will never compromise on.
This 14-day maturation period applies to:
- All poured candle formats (vessel candles, tea lights, pillars)
- Wax-based room fragrance products where applicable
Room sprays, reed diffusers, and non-wax products that do not require curing will be noted individually at the product level and may ship sooner.
3. Order-to-Delivery Timeline
Please plan for the following estimated timeline from the moment your order is placed:
- Maturation / Production: 14 calendar days (candles & applicable products)
- Preparation & Quality Inspection: 1–2 business days
- Domestic Shipping Transit: 5–7 business days
- International Shipping Transit: 6–10 business days
- Total Estimated Delivery Window: Up to 21 calendar days from order confirmation
Example: An order placed on the 1st of the month may arrive as late as the 22nd. We encourage clients to plan accordingly, particularly for gifting occasions, events, or hospitality timelines.
Expedited shipping options, where available, affect transit time only — they do not shorten the maturation period.
4. Order Confirmation & Processing
Upon placing your order, you will receive an automated confirmation email. This confirms receipt of your order, not that it has shipped. Your order enters our production queue at this stage.
During peak seasons (holiday, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day), production queues may extend beyond the standard 14-day window. Updated timelines will be communicated proactively via email.
5. Shipping Carriers & Methods
BB Boutique & Co. partners with premium carriers to deliver your order with appropriate care. Available methods at checkout may include:
- Standard Ground Shipping (5–7 business days in transit)
- USPS First Class International Shipping (6-10 business days in transit)
Carrier availability is subject to your delivery location and current carrier capacity. BB Boutique & Co. reserves the right to select the most appropriate carrier for the safe delivery of fragrance products, including temperature-sensitive items.
6. Shipping Rates
BB Boutique & Co. currently ships within the United States and Canada. All orders are carefully prepared and processed prior to shipment. Processing and handling times are typically 3–5 business days.
United States
Orders are shipped via standard delivery service and typically arrive within 3–7 business days after processing.
- Flat-rate shipping: $12
- Complimentary standard shipping is available on orders of $100 or more
Canada
Orders are shipped via USPS First-Class International service.
After processing and handling, Canadian orders typically arrive within 6–10 business days, though delivery times may vary based on customs processing and carrier conditions.
7. International Shipping
At this time, BB Boutique & Co. ships within the contiguous United States. International shipping for select markets — including luxury hospitality and wholesale partners — is available by arrangement. Please contact us directly at info@bbboutiqueandcompany.com for international inquiries.
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees. These charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient and are not included in your order total.
8. Tracking Your Order
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to your carrier's tracking portal. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update following shipment.
If you have not received a shipping notification within 16 days of your order confirmation, please contact our client services team.
9. Damaged or Lost Shipments
BB Boutique & Co. takes exceptional care in packaging each order for safe transit. In the event that your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within the estimated delivery window:
- Photograph all packaging and product damage immediately upon receipt
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery (or the expected delivery date) at info@bbboutiqueandcompany.com
- Retain all original packaging materials, as they may be required for a carrier claim
We will assess each situation individually and, at our discretion, offer a replacement or store credit. BB Boutique & Co. is not responsible for carrier delays, weather events, or misdeliveries resulting from an incorrect shipping address provided at checkout.
10. Address Accuracy
Please review your shipping address carefully before completing your purchase. BB Boutique & Co. cannot modify or intercept a shipment once it has been handed to the carrier. Orders returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address may be subject to re-shipping fees.
11. Wholesale & Hospitality Orders
Wholesale and hospitality partners are subject to a separate fulfillment agreement outlined in the BB Boutique & Co. Wholesale Partner Agreement. Lead times for wholesale orders may differ from retail timelines based on order volume and product customization.
